Microsoft PowerPoint Slides - May
include voice-over narration, animations, interactivity, branching,
indexing and media. If voice-over narrations are used, the
settings described below are recommended: |
 |
In order to ensure that your narration files are included with the
PowerPoint presentation, set the "Link sounds with file size greater
than" setting to 50,000 Kb (see image to the left). This option can be
found in PowerPoint by selecting "Tools" and then "Options" from the
main menu.
Before narrating your slides, make sure that your
sound quality settings are at a reasonable bandwidth for distribution
over the Internet. Using the "Sound Selection" option for 16,000
KHz, 8 Bit, Mono produces excellent results. This setting panel
can be found in PowerPoint by selecting "Slide Show", "Record Narration"
and then "Change Quality" from the main menu.
